It covers a wide range of war-related themes, including patriotism, food conservation, commodity shortages, the Great Influenza Pandemic, mobilization, industrial participation, the roles of African Americans and women, the assault on civil liberties, and intolerance and paranoia. Included also are the names of 1,073 service personnel along with service details for individuals born, residing in, or later connected to High Point. Created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day. 180 pages.
