Land records and vital records for Guilford County. much of the records are digitized and available on-line. GIS Data Viewer has some old wills used for land ownership.

On-Line dates of Births, Deaths, and Marriages will need a password. Many have spouse and parents

The North Carolina Archives is an underused resource. Several years ago the state legislature required counties to send a copy of their records for a central location to store and protect government records. Though several counties have not completely complied, you will find a good on-line database for NC counties and TN before the state split. The link is below.ds
